ND filters for the Rokinon 14mm f2.8

After doing some research on Nd filters for the #rokinon 14 f2.8, I was getting ready to shell out the cash for the Wanderpano system. I started looking at mods or hacks for the lens and most were kind of iffy, placing filters inside the lens hood and wrapping the lens to block the light leaks on the sides, That's fine to a point if you like cropping way down to get rid of the black borders.

Fast forward a few weeks later I was digging around in my camera trunk and found some 37mm Nd filters for my Gopro. I sat them out to go in the trash since I never used them. I trough them on the table and sat down to clean some lenses from a earlier shoot. I had the Rokinon 14mm out cleaning the front element when I bummped the table and knocked the 37mm filters onto the floor. After I picked them up I noticed the rear mount on the Rokinon had a relief milled into it. So by chance I stuck the 37mm filter into the rear mount and it was a perfect fit. I mounted the lens onto my Sony A7r and it worked!!!!!! Its a perfect fit, the lip of the filter sets flush with the rear mount and is held in with just pressure. Now the drawbacks, I have to set my focus then remove the lens, install the filter and reconnect then shoot. This method will not work for a CPL filter due to the rotation of the filter relative to the sun and the lip of the filter is a milometer larger and preventing mounting the lens.
